SETTINGS
Core trading settings
These control the EA's trading style, lot sizing, and basic risk.
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| License Key | — | Required. Paste the key from your purchase/trial email. The EA won't trade without it. One key = one MT account. |
| Risk Mode | High Risk |
High Risk — uses a grid/martingale strategy. Opens multiple positions and averages down. Higher potential profit, higher drawdown risk. Low Risk — single trade mode with a fixed Take Profit and Stop Loss. One position at a time. Safer, smaller returns. |
| Take Profit | 50 | Profit target in points. When the combined position profit reaches this level, all trades close. Applies to both risk modes. |
| Stop Loss | 100 | Maximum loss in points before trades are closed. Protects your account from large moves against you. |
| Magic | 65894235 | Unique ID so the EA only manages its own trades. Change it only if you run multiple EAs on the same account — each needs a different magic number. |
| Balance limit | 100 | Minimum account balance (in your account currency) to keep trading. If balance drops below this, the EA stops opening new trades. Set to 0 to disable. |
| Lot size units | 0.01 | The base lot size for every trade. Start with 0.01 (micro lot). Increase only if your account size supports it. Rule of thumb: 0.01 per $500–$1,000 balance. |
| Lot multiplier | 1.4 | Only used in High Risk mode. Each new grid order lot = previous lot × this multiplier. Higher = more aggressive recovery but more risk. Set to 1.0 for equal lot sizes. |
| Step | 150 | Distance in points between grid orders (High Risk mode). Larger step = fewer orders, wider spacing. Smaller = tighter grid, more orders. |
| Max Orders | 10 | Maximum open grid positions. Limits exposure. In Low Risk mode this is effectively 1. |
Which Risk Mode should I use? If you're on a prop firm challenge or want to protect capital, use Low Risk.
If you're on a personal account and comfortable with drawdowns, High Risk can produce larger returns.
DRAWDOWN PROTECTION
Automatic drawdown limits
These protect your account if drawdown reaches a dangerous level. Set to 0 to disable.
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Drawdown for Stop trade | 0 | If floating loss exceeds this % of your balance, the EA stops opening new trades (existing trades stay open). Example: set 10 to pause at 10% drawdown. Set 0 to disable. |
| Drawdown for Close all orders | 0 | If floating loss exceeds this % of your balance, the EA closes all open trades immediately. This is your emergency stop. Example: set 15 to force-close at 15% drawdown. Set 0 to disable. |
Prop firm users: Set these to match your firm's rules. If your firm fails you at 10% daily drawdown, set
"Close all orders" to
8 or 9 to stay safe.
FILTER TIME
Trading hours filter
Restrict trading to specific hours. Uses your broker's server time (not your local time).
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| On/Off time filter | true | Enable or disable the time filter. When off, the EA trades 24 hours. |
| Hour start | 1 | Hour the EA starts trading (broker server time, 0–23). |
| Minute start | 0 | Minute within the start hour (0–59). |
| Hour end | 22 | Hour the EA stops opening new trades. |
| Minute end | 30 | Minute within the end hour. |
The defaults (01:00–22:30) avoid the market open/close volatility. Adjust based on your broker's GMT offset.
The EA only stops opening new trades outside these hours — it doesn't close existing ones.
FILTER NEWS
News event filter
Pauses trading around major economic news events to avoid spikes. Uses the Forex Factory calendar feed.
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Use News filter | false | Turn news filtering on or off. When on, the EA pauses before and after news events. |
| Pause before News | 30 | Minutes to stop trading before a news event. Gives the market time to position. |
| Pause after News | 30 | Minutes to wait after news before resuming. Lets volatility settle. |
| Enable minor news | false | Pause for low-impact events (yellow folder on Forex Factory). |
| Enable medium news | false | Pause for medium-impact events (orange folder). |
| Enable major news | true | Pause for high-impact events (red folder). Recommended to keep on. NFP, FOMC, CPI etc. |
| Offset Broker time GMT | 2 | Your broker's GMT offset so news times align correctly. Most brokers are GMT+2 or GMT+3. Check your broker's "Market Watch" time. |
| Draw news lines | true | Show vertical lines on the chart at news event times. Helps you see when the EA will pause. |
| Draw only future lines | true | Only draw lines for upcoming events (keeps chart clean). |
| Color / Style | Red / Dot | Appearance of news lines on your chart. Cosmetic only. |

That's every setting
The defaults are designed to work out of the box. Only change settings you fully understand. When in doubt, keep the defaults and contact support.
